EQUIMEC TRIPLE BROAD SPECTRUM ANTIPARASITIC LIQUID FOR HORSES (10 Horse Stable Pack)
THE ULTIMATE 3-IN-1 BROAD-SPECTRUM ALLWORMER FOR HORSES.
EQUIMEC TRIPLE LIQUID is a ready to use oral drench for horses which contains the powerful 3-way combination of Iver-mectin, OXIBENDAZOLE and Prazi-quantel to provide complete and effective protection against all major equine internal parasites, including Roundworms, Tapeworms and Bots.
EQUIMEC TRIPLE LIQUID gives the multi-horse owner a fast, efficient and effective way to orally drench their horses, using a product with many attributes:
THE BENEFITS OF A COMBINATION DRENCH
EQUIMEC Triple combination offers a more effective drench option than single-active drenches. Being a triple-action drench, the Iver-mectin component works to kill a broad spectrum of parasites, including benzimidazole resistant Strongyles, while the OXIBENDAZOLE component works to kill ML-resistant (Iver-mectin) Ascarids, and the Prazi-quantel kills Tapeworm heads and segments. This results in superior, longer-term and sustainable control.
A combination drench can also significantly delay the development of anthelmintic resistance. This is because the chance of parasites surviving a combination is low. If there was a one in 1000 chance of a parasite developing resistance to a single class of drug, then to develop resistance to a combination would be a one in a million chance!
EQUIMEC TRIPLE LIQUID, when used at the recommended dose rate of 1 mL/ 20 kg bodyweight, controls the following parasites:
EQUIMEC TRIPLE LIQUID is also effective for the control of skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae (summer sores), and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
DOSAGE: 1mL/20 kg Bodyweight (5mL/100kg Bodyweight) given orally.
The dose of 1 mL/20 kg bodyweight delivers 0.2 mg/kg of Iver-mectin, 10 mg/kg oxibendazole and 2.5 mg/kg of Prazi-quantel
ADMINISTRATION: EQUIMEC TRIPLE LIQUID can be given using standard drenching equipment by depositing the medication on the rear of the horse’s tongue. Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
SUGGESTED PARASITE CONTROL PROGRAM:
All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Foals should be treated initially at 6 to 8 weeks of age, and routine treatment repeated as appropriate. Consult a veterinarian for a control program to meet your needs.
MEAT WITHHOLDING PERIOD (HORSES): DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
