Directions Of Use

Maintenance and Storage:

  • Always thoroughly clean and dry the Stock Prodder after use.
  • Always store the Stock Prodder in a dry place.
  • Do not allow the batteries to become corroded.
  • When not in use, remove batteries and extension shaft.
  • It is best to store the Stock Prodder either lying down or hanging with the tip facing down to minimize moisture running into power unit.

Warnings:

  • This stock prod is designed for use on livestock only.
  • Keep the unit away from children and never use on humans.
  • Keep stock prodder dry.
  • Clean, dry and store your stock prod in a dry environment. Remove batteries prior to cleaning or drying.
  • If unit gets wet, immediately take steps to thoroughly dry unit out to avoid corrosion and/or unintended shock.
  • This stock prodder generates a high voltage pulse, never touch the metal tips whilst batteries are in the unit.
  • This stock prod is ready for operation when batteries are installed; one shock is stored in the metal tips after release of the trigger. Always handle with caution.
  • Always use in a well ventilated area, do not use near flammable liquids or dust.
  • Intended for ground use only
