Orders containing multiple large or heavy items, such as more than four 20-litre drums, will typically be palletised to ensure they arrive intact and without risk to anyone involved in the process. This is for a number of reasons, including manual handling policies set by our couriers and us, and importantly, to ensure the product arrives intact and is delivered in full.

  • If you have a forklift available at your delivery address: Great! Our Logistics Officer will contact you to confirm details and arrange a smooth delivery, provided our couriers service your location.
  • If you don't have a forklift: We'll need an alternative delivery address where one is available. This could be a nearby residential or business spot where you're known, like a service station, tyre shop, general store, transport depot, or mechanic.
  • If neither option works: We can assist in locating a local freight depot for easy self-collection.
  • Can I hand unload the pallet from the truck? Unfortunately, couriers do not allow hand unloading.

That's an excellent question. 'Roundup' is a brand name for a popular herbicide, while 'Glyphosate' is the active ingredient found in many weed killers. Because the brand is so well known, "Roundup" has become a common term used to refer to any product containing glyphosate.
At Specialist Sales, we can assist you with both. We offer the genuine Roundup brand, as well as a range of other high-quality herbicides with the same effective glyphosate active ingredient.

The short answer is, it depends on the size of the item. For smaller products, like the 500mL Neovemox LA Cattle Drench or Cydectin Pour-On 5L, we can generally send these to an Australia Post PO Box, as long as they meet Australia Post's terms and conditions for parcel post. However, larger items, such as the 10-litre and 20-litre drums of herbicides or pour-ons, cannot be delivered to a PO Box. This is due to Australia Post's terms and conditions for what they can accept. These larger items need to be sent to a physical street or business address that couriers or transport companies can deliver to. If you're ever unsure about whether a product can be delivered to your PO Box, the best thing to do is get in touch with our Specialist Sales Customer Service Team. Currently, we only offer shipping services to locations within Australia. Please note that while we offer free shipping Australia-wide, this excludes some islands off the mainland. For orders destined for these excluded islands, shipping will be arranged to the nearest port on the Australian mainland. Onward shipping from the mainland port to the final island destination will be the customer's responsibility and at the customer's expense. Specialist Sales determines whether a location is considered part of mainland Australia for shipping purposes.

Orders can be collected from Specialist Sales during regular operating hours (Monday to Thursday, 8 am-5 pm, and Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm). Shipping Protection. At checkout, you will have the option to purchase or decline shipping protection. This protection is handled by Ship-Safely, who manages the contact, replacement, and recovery experience. Ship-Safely is a policy designed for you and covers you if your delivery is lost, stolen, or damaged whilst in transit. Purchasing shipping protection gives you an added level of comfort and security that your purchase is protected. Important Notice. If Ship-Safely shipping protection is declined at checkout or cancelled after the purchase, Specialist Sales will not be liable if the delivery is damaged, lost or stolen during transit. How to Purchase Shipping Protection. The “Shipping Protection” option defaults to ‘on’ at checkout. You will be charged a fee for this service, which will be added to your total order amount and displayed in the order summary. If shipping protection is accepted, an email from Ship-Safely will be sent to you with your policy number and relevant information, including how to lodge a claim. The protection can also be cancelled once the policy number is received via email and must be done directly with Ship Safely. How to Decline Shipping Protection. Shipping protection can be deselected by clicking the ‘on/off’ button at checkout. The shipping protection will be removed from your cart and the order summary. What is Covered by Shipping Protection? Ship-Safely shipping protection covers your packages in case of loss, theft, or damage during transit. If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, Ship-Safely will work with you to replace the items in your order or issue a refund. How to File a Claim with Ship-Safely. If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, you must file a claim with Ship-Safely within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. Yes, we can ship FREE to your location. However, we will send large items or items not accepted by Australia Post via courier / general transport. If you are outside normal courier delivery areas or have never had a courier deliver goods to your address, we need a delivery address that the order can be delivered to. This may be an in-town residential or business address such as a service station, tyre repair service, general store, transport depot, mechanic, etc., where you are known.  Most courier companies require a signature before completing their delivery. If a signature is not obtained, a calling card is often left, and the parcel returned to the courier’s depot to be collected or redelivered at a later date (redelivery fees may apply). If you do not give authority to leave without a signature, ensure someone will be onsite to take delivery as redelivery fees may apply.
