Description
Dropzone Herbicide
Active Ingredient: 2,4-D (P/A The Dimethylamine And Monomethylamine Salts) @ 500g/L
Nufarm Dropzone Herbicide is a non-volatile, low-odour, water-soluble liquid (SL) 2,4-D Amine formulation with non-selective herbicidal activity against broadleaf weeds. Dropzone Herbicide produces an optimised spray droplet spectrum by reducing undesirable and ineffective droplets at both ends of the droplet spectrum. This results in a more effective and uniform spray pattern with a higher proportion of droplets in the optimal size range, including when used in certain tank mixtures. Use. This enhances spray coverage and droplet retention and reduces the risk of off-target spray drift.
Dropzone Herbicide (24D Amine) is for use in Fallow, Sugarcane, grass pasture & salvage spraying of cereals. It delivers a greater volume of spray solution in the optimal range (150 µm to 720 µm) for Very Coarse, Extra Coarse and Ultra Coarse spray qualities.

Why choose Dropzone Herbicide;
- Droplet Optimisation – Maximises droplets delivered in the optimal size range (150 – 720 micron), negligible driftable fines and reduces droplet bounce off target.
- Unique Formulation – Increases speed brownout & efficacy, enhances droplet retention and speed of uptake.
- Low Odour – Reduced sensitivity to the user & community.
- Non-volatile
- Faster Activity
- Reduced Buffer Zones
Nufarm Dropzone Herbicide is a member of the phenoxy group of herbicides. Nufarm Dropzone has the disruptor of plant cell growth mode of action. Dropzone Herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and accumulates to lethal levels in the regions of growth and reproduction, upsetting the ability of plants to balance the synthesis and use of nutrients. Visible effects are a gradual yellowing and wilting of the plants, which advances to complete browning of above-ground growth and deterioration of root systems. Effects may not be apparent for 7 – 10 days or even up to 21 days under cold or cloudy conditions.
Dropzone Herbicide provides no residual control and only controls emerged weeds. Certain plant back periods should be observed.
