Envirodye Blue Liquid Marking Dye (Sulphonated Aromatic Acid Dye) ENVIRODYE-BLUE SST Australia

Description

Envirodye Blue Liquid Marking Dye

Active Ingredient: Sulphonated Aromatic Acid Dye @ 90g/L

Envirodye Blue Liquid Marking Dye is a non-toxic, biodegradable, blue liquid identification compound for marking turf, vegetation when using herbicides & pesticides.  Envirodye is a blue liquid used to identify areas sprayed.  A system that applies to all spraying situations that is a simple yet effective way of reducing costs as a result of over spraying or leaving areas untreated.

Envirodye is ideal for use when a less intense colour is required, and the operator wants to avoid the long term staining on equipment left by Rhodamine based marker dyes. It is popular with councils, resorts, golf clubs needing to identify sprayed areas to ensure a completely clean job. Envirodye is effective as a warning signal that alerts citizens in public places that pesticides have been applied. Envirodye has been developed as a functional alternative to Rhodamine B based spray marker dyes.

Although Envirodye does not have the same fluorescence as Rhodamine B Dye, it has similar tinctorial strength and has many compelling features that make it ideal for use as a spray marker dye. When used as a colouring agent with white foam markers will become blue in colour to allow clearer identification. Application of SST Envirodye to turf, greens and fairways imparts a deep rich colour to green surfaces and provides a uniform appearance.

The Rhodamine Marker Dyes (i.e. Specialist Red Marker Dye & Apparent Rhodaminie 150 Marker Dye) have better colour intensity and last longer than other marker dyes.  Rhodamine can have an antagonistic effect with some herbicides, such as MCPA, but this is not common.  Envirodye Liquid Marking Dye & BioDye Liquid Marking Dye are often used in turf, residential, council or areas with environmental significance.
