How to get rid of ants

Granules are usually applied in areas where ants are active. To treat your ant problem, simply sprinkle the granules over the area where ants are present or where they have nests or trails. This will provide the most effective result. If ants have infested areas at a high rate, reapply to maintain residual control. Best control can be achieved when spread across an area where ants are commonly seen and known to frequent for food.

Surefire Fipronil Granular Ant Killer

Surefire Fipronil Granular Ant Killer is a highly effective, fast-acting non-repellent, odorless control of ants in turf and external surrounds. It uses the active ingredient Fipronil, a broad-spectrum insecticide that attacks an insect’s central nervous system, killing the insect. When spread on outdoor surfaces it provides barrier protection and when used as directed, the product won’t harm soil or plants. The granules are inconspicuous in use and therefore are ideal for pavers and paths. They are also ideally suited for use on lawns, gardens, or hard surfaces. 

Anstar Granular Insecticide

Bifenthrin is another effective insecticide that acts on the nervous system of the insect.

Antstar lar Insecticide is a Bifenthrin-based granular insecticide that gives excellent control of ants, ticks, fleas, and many turf pests in the garden and outside areas. Bifenthrin is another effective insecticide that acts on the nervous system of the insect. The ant killer contains 2g/Kg Bifenthrin and is registered for use. Antstar Granular Insecticide is convenient in a ready-to-use formulation that is easily applied with a shaker pack. It is odour free and a low-risk product. It has a rapid knockdown with a long residual action and remains effective after rain.

Liquid ant baits

Similar to granules, liquid ant killer is effective because it is taken back to the nest, where it effectively disperses amongst the residing ants. Liquid ant killers are more often used indoors. As with granular ant control, liquids commonly use Fipronil and Bifenthrin as the active ingredient.

Zeus Bifenthrin Termiticide and Insecticide

Zeus Bifenthrin Termiticide and Insecticide is a residual action pesticide featuring an extensive label ranging from termites through to common ants and other external house pests. The product can also be used to control crop pests on bananas, sugar cane, citrus, tomatoes, stone fruit, canola, lucerne, and wheat. Zeus contains the active ingredient Bifenthrin in an emulsifiable concentrate formula and it holds a dual registration as an insecticide as well as a termiticide. When using in crops, some withholding periods do apply and we suggest you read the label for further information on this.

Zeus Bifenthrin Termiticide and Insecticide is solvent-based and fast-acting with an extensive range of target pests. It has an excellent residual action with low mammalian toxicity.
