Tips For Use
Restraints:Â
- Do not use in areas accessible to children.
- Do not use on horses that may be used for human consumption.
- Do not treat farm buildings and animal sheds with spray in the presence of animals.Â
- Wait until the chemical clears after treatment, then thoroughly ventilate the treated area before allowing re-entry of animals.
- Do not spray water or feed troughs.
- Do not allow water to enter this container.
- Do not rinse the lid with water.
Precautions: Re-Entry Period
- If re-entering treated areas before the spray has dried, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing) and chemical-resistant gloves.
- Clothing must be laundered after each day’s use.
Environmental Protection:Â
- Very toxic to aquatic life.Â
- Do not contaminate wetlands or watercourses with this product or used containers.
- Highly toxic to bees, however, the use of this product as directed is not expected to have adverse effects on bees.
Storage:Â
- Store in original container tightly closed in a dry, cool place.
- Do not store in direct sunlight.Â
- Store below 30 °C (Room Temperature).
- Do not use after the expiry date affixed to the container.
Safety Directions:Â
- Poisonous if swallowed.Â
- Repeated minor exposure may have a cumulative poisoning effect.Â
- It will irritate the eyes and skin.Â
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin.Â
- Do not inhale vapour or spray mist.Â
- When opening the container and preparing the spray, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist or equivalent clothing and a washable hat, and elbow-length chemical-resistant gloves.Â
- When using the prepared spray, wear protective waterproof clothing, cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist or equivalent clothing and a washable hat, elbow-length chemical-resistant gloves and a half-face piece respirator.Â
- If clothing becomes contaminated with product, remove clothing immediately.Â
- If the product is on the skin, immediately wash the area with soap and water.Â
- After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water.Â
- After each day’s use, wash gloves, respirator and if rubber, wash with detergent and warm water, and contaminated clothing.
First Aid Instructions:Â
- If swallowed, splashed on skin or in eyes, or inhaled, contact a Poisons Information Centre (Phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor at once.Â
- Remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly.Â
- If swallowed, activated charcoal may be advised.Â
- Give atropine if instructed.
