Tips For Use

Application:

• Apply to solid structures such as walls, fences, benches and garbage bins as an area or band spray.
• Avoid applying this product to dusty/dirty surfaces.
• For season-long control, monthly applications may be required, depending on the situation and duration of the fly season.

Restraints:

• Do not apply bait in locations accessible to domestic animals or livestock.
• Do not apply in a manner that may cause contamination of animal feed.
• Do not apply to organic material, including manure or refuse heaps.
• Do not apply spray treatment outdoors if rain is expected within 48 hours.

General Instructions:

• Seclira Pressurised Fly Bait can be applied in many locations.
• Seclira Pressurised Fly Bait should be applied to surfaces such as walls, fences, under eaves and garbage bins. The best results are achieved when applied to non-porous surfaces.
• This product is not designed to be applied directly to soil, compost, manure heaps or edible refuse.
• Avoid cool or windy locations because flies prefer warm sites for resting.
• Time applications so they begin at the start of the season before fly populations have reached their peak.
• Fly control should be considered part of an integrated strategy that incorporates good sanitation, appropriate management of breeding sites (e.g. manure and other decaying organic matter) and exclusion measures to prevent flies’ access to internal areas.

Notes on Application:

• Avoid applying this product to dusty/dirty surfaces.
• Do not spray the moving parts of any machinery, electric motors or switchgear with the water-based product.
• To avoid unwanted staining of interior and exterior surfaces, a small hidden area should be sprayed and checked for any discolouration before widespread use.

Re-baiting:

• Re-apply bait when flies are no longer visibly affected in areas where the product has been applied (usually after about 4 to 6 weeks).
• For season-long control, monthly applications may be required, depending on the situation and duration of the fly season.

Precautions:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not allow contact with raw or processed food, utensils, food preparation surfaces or
  Packaging.
• Do not use it as a space (aerosol) spray.
• Do not apply to surfaces accessible to children.
• Do not apply past the point of run-off.
• Do not spray directly on animals, feed, drinking supplies, or milking equipment.
• Beware: Deliberately sniffing or inhaling concentrated spray can be harmful or fatal.

Protection Of Wildlife, Fish, Crustacea And The Environment:

• Very toxic to aquatic life.
• Do not contaminate waterways with the chemical or used containers.
• Clean up spillage promptly.

Storage And Disposal:

• Keep in a cool place out of the sun and out of the reach of children.
• Do not puncture or incinerate this can, even when empty.
• Recycle empty cans if a facility is available or place the used can in household rubbish.
