Herbi Red Marker Dye
Active Ingredient: Direct Red 2B-Y Liquid @ 160g/L
Herbi Red Marking Dye is a non-toxic, biodegradable, red liquid identification compound for marking turf and vegetation when using herbicides & pesticides.
Herbi Red Marker Dye is made from ‘Direct Red 2B-Y’, a synthetic dye in the azo dye class. Direct Red 2B-Y is characterised by its bright red colour and is frequently used with other dyes to produce a wide range of shades.
Why choose Herbi Red Marker Dye;
- Non-Toxic & Biodegradable.
- A cost-effective product to eliminate over-application or missed strips.
- Ideal for spray marking in Industrial, Domestic, Metropolitan, Council and Government Gazetted areas.
- It can also be used as a colouring agent for white marking foam.
Why are Spray Marker Dyes important when spraying herbicides and pesticides;
Spray marker dyes are commonly used when spraying vegetation because they provide a visual indication of the areas that have been sprayed, which helps to ensure that the entire target area is covered with the herbicide or pesticide being applied.
Without a spray marker dye, it can be difficult to tell which areas have been treated, especially in cases where the herbicide or pesticide is transparent and has no colour or odour. This can lead to under-application or over-application of the herbicide or pesticide, resulting in poor weed control or damage to non-target plants and crops.
After using a marker dye, applicators can easily see where they have sprayed. This allows them to avoid overspray and ensure that the herbicide or pesticide is applied evenly and uniformly across the target area. This can improve the effectiveness of weed control and reduce the risk of damage to non-target plants and crops. Additionally, spray marker dye can help reduce waste and minimise the herbicide or pesticide needed to achieve effective weed control.
What is the application rate of Herbi Red Marker Dye;
- Add the Marker Dye to water at 100 ml per 100L water.
- Use a higher rate where more persistent marking is required.
