Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide OXYFLUORFEN-240 Apparent AG Conquest Crop Protection

Description

OXYFLUORFEN 240 HERBICIDE Active Ingredient: Oxyfluorfen @ 240g/L

Similar or comparable to Goal Herbicide (Dow), Striker Herbicide (Nufarm) & Cavalier Herbicide (Adama)

Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide is a selective herbicide for the control of certain annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in dormant apples, grapes, peaches, pears, plums, apricots, almonds, macadamia, Duboisia, tobacco, coffee, pyrethrum, winter cereals, tropical/subtropical crops, brassicas, Eucalyptus and Pinus spp and other forestry trees used in forestry applied either to a weed-free soil or to seedling weeds at the 4 to 6 true leaf stage.

Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide combines residual (pre-emergence) and contact (post-emergence) activity – provides knockdown and/or extended weed control depending upon use rate, can provide up to 6 months residual weed control in tree crops. Oxyfluorfen provides outstanding control of “hard to kill” weeds, marshmallows and annual nettles Oxyfluorfen enhances the activity of glyphosate formulations – improves weed spectrum and speed of kill.

Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide binds tightly to soil – will not leach to groundwater Weed control for up to 6 months can be expected with high label rates, but spot treatment of escape weeds or perennial grasses may be necessary with knockdown herbicides. Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide can be used on weed-free soil to prevent germination of a wide variety of weeds or it can be applied to existing weeds at seedling stage especially with a tank mix partner to increase the variety of weeds controlled and/or the length of residual control. Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide can also be added at a low rate as a ‘spike’ to glyphosate or paraquat and diquat/paraquat herbicides to improve knockdown.

Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide is not registered or recommended for use in turf or lawn situations. As Oxyfluorfen 240 Herbicide targets grasses and broadleaf weeds, it is likely to severely damage or kill the turf grasses. We would suggest selective broadleaf herbicides that are safe for turf situations, such as Kamba M, Bow & Arrow, Casper & Buffalo, Bindi & Broadleaf Weedkiller. Particular selective herbicides can damage certain turf species. Please check for this information before purchasing and applying.
