It contains the active ingredient Fluroxypyr, a chemical that has activity on a wide range of broadleaf weeds and is classified as a Group 4 Herbicide. It has a mode of action in which the weed cannot grow due to disruption of plant cell growth. Fluroxypyr belongs to the Pyridines group of chemicals.

Starane was used to clean up a paddock before lambing.
It got the job done.
