Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-On for Cattle

Active Ingredients: Moxidectin @ 5.0g/L & Triclabendazole @ 200g/L

A single treatment at the recommended dose rate prevents re-infection with moxidectin-susceptible Barber’s Pole Worm (Haemonchus contortus) and Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi) for 14 days.

Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-On for Cattle is effective in the treatment and control of the following parasites affecting cattle:

Triclabendazole susceptible Liver fluke (late immature (6 to 8 weeks) and adult):
- Fasciola hepatica
Moxidectin susceptible Gastrointestinal (adult and larval L4):
- Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi), Stomach Hair Worm (Trichostrongylus axei) and Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia spp.).
- Moxidectin susceptible Gastrointestinal (adult): Barbers Pole Worm (Haemonchus placei), Nodule worm (Oesophgostomum spp.), Thin-necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus spp.) and Hookworm (Bunostomum spp.).

Directions Of Use

Dose Rate: The dose is 1mL for each 10kg of live weight.

Administration:

Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-On for Cattle is formulated only for external application to cattle.
Do not use it in other species.
The formulation should be applied along the topline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tailhead.
Dose the mob according to the heaviest animal by live weight in each group (cows, bulls, calves, heifers, etc.).
When there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on body weight, to avoid overdosing.
Do not underdose.
Cattle should be weighed with either scales or with a weigh band.

Restraint:

Do not use on dairy cattle that are producing or may in the future produce milk for human consumption or processing.

Re-Treatment Interval:

Do not retreat animals with this product for 160 days after the last treatment.

Rainfast:

The efficacy of Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-on For Cattle is not adversely affected if applied when the hide is wet or if rain occurs shortly after application.

Safety Directions:

Harmful if inhaled or swallowed.
Do not inhale.
It will irritate the eyes. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
When opening the container and using the product, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing), elbow-length chemical-resistant gloves, and a face shield or goggles.
If clothing becomes contaminated with the product, remove clothing immediately.
If the product is on the skin, immediately wash the area with soap and water.
If the product is in the eyes, wash it immediately with water.
After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
After each day’s use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles and contaminated clothing.

Moxidectin is extremely toxic to aquatic species.
Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams or other waterways with the chemical or used container.
