Active Ingredients: Potassium Silicate @ 312g/kg & Potassium Bicarbonate @633g/kg

EcoCarb Plus Fungicide is an organic fungicide that controls and suppresses various fungal infections in viticultural and horticultural Crops. Ecocarb Plus is a dual-action curative fungicide containing food grade potassium bicarbonate & potassium silicate. When applied on a regular basis, Ecocarb Plus has been proven to control powdery mildew in grapes, vegetables, strawberries, roses, apples and rust in ornamentals (geraniums).

With the addition of Potassium silicate, Ecocarb Plus controls Brown rot in Nectarines, Black spot in Apples and suppresses Downy mildew in Grapes.

EcoCarb Plus is an effective organic alternative to conventional broad-spectrum fungicides. It is safe to use in environmentally sensitive areas and within IPDM systems where other fungicides may have the potential to leave undesirable residues on foliage or in the soil. Ecocarb Plus is approved for use in Australian certified organic crops is also USDA-NOP approved.

EcoCarb Plus is a contact product containing activated potassium bicarbonate with the addition of potassium silicate to improve efficacy against some more difficult to control diseases.

Rate: 300-400gm/100L plus 200mL Synertrol Horti Oil

Critical Comments: Begin application at the first sign of disease. Repeat application at 7-10 day intervals. Use the higher rate and shorter repeat interval under conditions of rapid plant growth or severe disease pressure. Apply to ensure complete and thorough coverage of all plant surfaces. Pay particular attention to the underside of leaves.

EcoCarb Plus Fungicide is widely used on many ornamental plants but only has Geranium Or Pelargoniums listed on its label. As chrysanthemum is not listed on the label, we can't guarantee the product will be effective.

Tips For Use

Note:

Grape growers are advised to rotate EcoCarb Plus with wettable sulfur sprays under conditions where canopy size and management practices limit spray coverage.
Strawberries, Vegetables and Geraniums: under conditions highly favourable to disease, control may not be achieved and suppression only can be expected.

Restraints:

Do not apply oil sprays within 10 days of applying chlorothalonil.

Mixing:

Half fill spray tank and commence agitation.
Slowly add the required amount of EcoCarb Plus.
Top up with the required quantity of water.
Agitate well before commencing spray procedure.
Other tank-mix products should be added last.
Do not allow mixtures to stand.
Use within 24 hours of mixing.

Application:

Apply by ground equipment only.
Contact with the disease organism is essential for control, as such apply insufficient water to ensure complete and thorough coverage of foliage and/or crop.
Ensure plants are not suffering from any environmental stress such as moisture stress or heat stress when applying EcoCarb Plus to control high levels of fungus infection as water loss from the infection site can cause the death of plant tissue.

Protections:

Protection Of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans And Environment:
- Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with chemical or used containers.
Protection Of Beneficial Insects
- Do not introduce predatory mites (phytoseiulus persimilis) to a crop within 7 days of an oil application.

Storage:

Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

Safety Directions:

Will irritate the eyes and skin.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
When opening the container and preparing the product for use, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing), elbow-length chemical resistant gloves and face shield or goggles.
When using the product, wear a face shield or goggles.
Wash hands after use.
After each day’s use wash gloves and face shield or goggles, and contaminated clothing.

First aid is not generally required.
