Effectivoil Spray Adjuvant is a highly penetrating spray adjuvant suitable for use with agricultural chemicals, certain post-emergent herbicides, fungicides and Insecticides to enhance their performance. It improves herbicide performance by utilising the excellent penetration effect of esterified vegetable oils in combination with the wetting and spreading characteristics of non-ionic surfactants. Â
Effectivoil provides excellent penetration & absorption of pesticides through wax-coated plant surfaces. Fatty Acids in the formulation provides superior wetting and spreading of pesticide sprays.
Effectivoil can be added to certain post-emergent herbicides to increase efficiency. In some situations, Effectivoil may reduce selectivity. Care must be exercised when applying Effectivoil with post-emergent herbicides on sensitive crops under conditions where plants are subject to drought stress, high temperatures, and high humidity. If in doubt use precaution and trial by application to a small area before committing to a large scale application
Effectivoil is widely used with broadacre cereal herbicides where a crop oil is used with the spray, with woody weed control herbicides where spray penetration is required, and in horticulture.

Works well as a penetrant for glyphosates such as Glyfos 360 on broadleaf plants.
Not really much use as a wetter when compared with Teric BL 8 or similar, work needs to be done in this area.
Enhancement of wetting is marginal at best.
