Hasten Spray Adjuvant is a unique spray adjuvant that has been designed to improve the efficacy of a wide range of agricultural products including Herbicides (selective and non–selective), Insecticides, Fungicides and Defoliants. The use of adjuvants with agricultural products, has been the subject of extensive research, and they are well accepted by the agricultural industry based on the benefits they provide.

Some of the benefits that Hasten Spray Adjuvant provides include increased crop yields, lower input costs and reduced impact on the environment. It achieves these benefits for the agricultural industry through its unique, patented formulation.

Is Hasten different from other spray adjuvants;

Hasten is different to competitor comparable products because the active ingredient is a different class of oil known as esterified vegetable oil. In combination with a proprietary blend of non-ionic surfactants, Hasten is also unique because the esterified oil is based on an ethyl ester in contrast with other commercial products that contain predominantly methyl esters.

When Hasten Spray Adjuvant is mixed with agricultural products and applied in the field, the non-ionic surfactants help to retain and improve the contact of the spray droplet on the plant or insect surface. The esterified oil is an excellent penetrating agent through waxy surfaces such as those of plants and insects thereby assisting the performance of the agricultural product. It is this dual-action that makes Hasten a very effective adjuvant.

Directions Of Use

General Rates:

Herbicides: 0.5L – 4L per 100L Water
Fungicides: 0.2L – 1L per 100L Water
Cotton Defoliation: 0.5L per Ha

Use of Hasten with other Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Defoliants or Desiccants:

Hasten may be used wherever an oil-based adjuvant is recommended on the label of the agricultural chemical unless Hasten or esterified seed-oil adjuvants are specifically excluded.
Hasten is also compatible with products containing the following active ingredients: Butroxydim, Clopyralid, Dicamba, Fluroxypyr, Halosulfuron, Haloxyfop, Metsulfuron-methyl, Oxyfluorfen, Pinoxaden, Simazine, Synthetic Pyrethroid Insecticides, Tralkoxydim, Triclopyr.
For guidance on the use rate of Hasten consult the agrichemical product label and/or the table below.
The recommended usage rate of Hasten for all such applications should be approximately 0.5 – 1.0 L / ha and should not be less than 0.2 L / ha (see Table below).

Tips For Use

Mixing:

Follow the directions on the agricultural chemical label.
Fill the spray tank one-half full of water and add the required amount of the agricultural chemical while agitating.
Add the remainder of the water.
Add the required amount of Hasten last and continue agitation until completion of spraying.

Compatibility:

Hasten can provide enhanced performance when compared with mineral oil or vegetable oil-based adjuvants.
Under Cold conditions (<100C) Hasten is preferred to other crop oil adjuvants when used with certain herbicides as recommended on their label.
Hasten is compatible with many agricultural chemical products (see directions for use), however, all instructions on the agricultural chemical’s label must be strictly followed.

Protections:

Do not contaminate streams, rivers or watercourses with chemical or used containers.

Storage:

Keep out of reach of children.
Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

Safety Directions:

May irritate the eyes and skin.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Avoid inhaling vapour or spray mist.
When using the product wear protective clothing.
After use of Hasen wash thoroughly with soap and water.
After each day’s use wash contaminated clothing.
When using together with other chemicals consult their safety directions.
