PCT Reactor Penetrant is a specialty product used to enhance spray mixes where a highly penetrating surfactant is required.  It is recommended for use with Glyphosate and certain brush weed herbicides to improve coverage, penetration and uptake on brush, woody weeds and ryegrass. The product can also be used with fungicides, insecticides, miticides and foliar micro-nutrients as per the directions of use table.  PCT Reactor Penetrant improves efficacy by enhancing the coverage, penetration and uptake of some herbicides in hard-to-kill weeds or difficult-to-wet brush and woody weeds. It may reduce the rainfast period to 30-60 minutes when sprayed on dry foliage.

  • Woody Weeds: (i.e. Gorse/Bracken Fern/Lantana) 100mL / 100L Water (Handgun)
  • Woody Weeds: (i.e. Gorse/Bracken Fern) 200mL / 100L Water (Boom Spray)
  • General Post Emerge: 50-100mL/100L Water
  • General Low Volume: 100-200mL/100L Water
  • Fungicide, Insecticides, Miticides & Foliar micro nutrient: 30-60mL/100L

Tips For Use

General Instructions:

  • PCT Reactor Penetrant is an organosilicone-based surfactant containing a unique blend of various polymers.
  • PCT Reactor Penetrant is a highly efficient wetter/spreader/penetrant. 
  • PCT Reactor Penetrant is effective with most agricultural chemicals unless otherwise stated on the label.

Mixing:

  1. Mix Herbicide/Fungicide/Insecticide/Foliar Micro-Nutrient product with water when the tank is about 30% full.
  2. When the tank is nearly full add PCT Reactor Penetrant.
  3. Complete filling tank.
  • While PCT Reactor Penetrant has been proven to be a highly efficient surfactant, timing, weather conditions, method of application and/or mixture with other chemicals not specifically recommended are beyond the control of the seller.
  • Therefore the user should carefully observe spray deposits, rate efficiencies compatibilities and effectiveness in initial applications and adjust the adjuvant accordingly.

Storage:

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Safety Directions:

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not get on skin or on clothing.
  • Causes eye irritation.
  • Do not get into eyes.
  • Harmful if swallowed.
  • Avoid breathing vapour or mist.
  • Avoid using the product in a manner as to directly, or through drift, expose workers or other persons.
  • Always follow the precautionary statements on the label of the pesticide(s) that are to be used with Reactor Penetrant.
  • Applicators and other handlers must wear goggles or a facial splash shield; chemical resistant gloves, such as nitrile rubber > 14 mils or neoprene rubber > 14 mils; coveralls or long-sleeved shirt and long pants; shoes plus socks and mists filtering respirator.
  • After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water.
  • After each day’s use wash goggles or face shields, gloves and any contaminated clothing.

First Aid:

  • If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre Phone Australia 13 11 26.
  • If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly.
  • If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood them with water for at least 15 minutes and see a Doctor.
