Yates Surrender Mosskiller has a powerful penetrating and wetting action that enables rapid absorption of the active ingredient by moss, algae, liverwort, and lichen. Absorption occurs between 5-15 minutes of application. Moss and lichen are killed within minutes, while algae and liverwort results can be seen within 24-48 hours. This is subject to correct application conditions and rates.

Situation: Bentgrass, buffalo, couch, fescues & ryegrass lawns.
Weeds Controlled: Algae, lichen, liverwort & moss.
Rate: 25mL per 1-Litre of water over 10m2
Critical Comments:
- Ensure target area is well watered before applying.
- Good spray coverage is important. Broadcast or spot spraying is acceptable.

Situation: Potted ornamental plants & garden beds
Weeds Controlled: Algae, lichen, liverwort & moss.
Rate: 10-15mL per 1-Litre of water

- Spray only over the soil to thoroughly wet the weeds.
- If spray accidentally contacts foliage of wanted plants, hose off within 5 minutes.

Situation: Tiled roofs, rockeries, drives, pathways.

Tips For Use

General Instructions:

Apply the product preferably by means of a pressure sprayer or knapsack sprayer.
A watering can may be used but this will result in reduced coverage since it is only necessary to barely wet the weeds.
Caution – Roofs:
- If connected to a rainwater tank, disconnect the water supply to the tank and allow 3-4 weeks, with a minimum of 6mm rainfall over this period, before reconnecting.

Application Tips For Getting The Best Results;

Ensure lawns are well watered before use — wait until lawn surface and foliage are dry before application.
Surrender should be applied alone and not mixed with wetting agents or foliar fertilisers.
Apply with a pressure or knapsack sprayer. Apply lightly and evenly wet the surface.
For heavy infestations, repeat applications may be required.
Apply when conditions are warm, and rain is not expected within 12 hours.
Do not use around seedlings.

Restraints :

Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours.
Do not allow spray to contact the foliage of wanted plants, except lawns.
Do not use around seedlings.

Protection Of Crops, Native And Other Non-Target Plants:

Contact with wanted plants and trees, except lawns, may cause severe damage.
Do not apply under weather conditions or from spraying equipment that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands or pastures.
Do not apply to lawns on days when shade temperatures are expected to be near 30^oC or higher or when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.

Protection Of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans & the Environment:

Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

Storage:

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders.

First Aid:

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting.
Give a glass of water.
If skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin thoroughly.
If in eyes, hold your eyes open, flood them with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.
