    great product

Other than the grass or lawn, this product kills all of the weeds. It is an extremely slow kill, but, is extremely thorough. ( The brew was exactly as per their label spec & with a wetting agent as per their spec’s. ) Some weeds take up to 3 weeks to really show signs of dying. But go back again in 6 weeks & wow. I sprayed 1 day after 12mm of rain. I do all of my spraying after rain as I get the best results. I use it on my house lawn ( won competitions with my lawn ), in the horse paddocks & out the back in the cattle paddocks. Stocking rates will improve as you end up growing more feed.
Also, dealing with this company sets the new standard of customer service. They are incredible. Delivery of product is right to the front door & within 2 to 3 days. Anybody else is 2 or 3 weeks. I have purchased 4 or 5 times from this company & every time it is 2 to 3 days. Just amazing. I live rural & about 700 Klm’s from them.

Applied 3 times with no affect.
Now for a further $80 I have had to purchase Consume Penetrate. Hopefully this will work. So far spent $140.

Hi Brian and thanks for your review. Wetting agents (also known as surfactants, adjuvants and penetrants) can be very important to use with herbicides. Wetting agents can help herbicides spread evenly and adhere better to plant surfaces, which can improve their effectiveness. However, the need for a wetting agent will depend on the specific herbicide and the target plant species, as well as the environmental conditions during application. It’s important to follow the label instructions for the herbicide being used, which will indicate whether a wetting agent is recommended and the appropriate rate to use.

A cocktail of Glyphosate mixed with this Dissaray, decimates the Flaxleaf Fleabane which turns my gravel driveway green every season. Nothing else I’ve tried will touch it. In a couple of short weeks I can show my face outside again.

The best practice when applying Dissaray Selective Herbicide to oversown turf is to delay application until the turf is at 100% cover and the root system is developed beyond a 3 cm depth.  Applying any chemical (even selective herbicides) to immature seedlings can result in severe damage or death.

Dissaray Selective Herbicide (Dicamba & MCPA) has no claims of being a pre-emergent.  Dissaray Selective Herbicide (Dicamba & MCPA) is a post-emergent so should not cause an issue with germination of couch grass seed.

Tips For Use

When Spraying Dicamba M in Turf:

For best results:

  • Do not mow turf for at least 2 days before or after application.
  • Do not spray when rain seems likely to occur within 4 hours.
  • Do not spray when weeds are wet with dew or rain.
  • Do not spray if soil fertility is low or if soil is water logged.
  • Do not spray weeds under stress (heat or water logging etc).
  • Only spray actively growing weeds.
  • Ensure thorough wetting of all weed foliage.
  • Do not fertilise turf for 2 weeks after spraying.

Mixing Directions:

  • Add the required amount of the product directly to the tank and mix well.

Application:

  • For Boom Application: Apply by a properly calibrated boom spray using not less than 50 litres of water per hectare unless indicated otherwise in Critical Comments column found in the directions for use.
  • For Aerial Application: Apply at least 25 litres total spray volume per hectare. The aircraft should fly as low as practical under the prevailing conditions to minimise drift.
  • For High Volume Application: Apply a minimum 1500 Litres per hectare. For Knapsack Application: A 15 Litre Knapsack treats 150 square metres.
  • Spray when the weeds are young and actively growing. A temporary wilting may be evident in crops after application. If seasonal conditions are unusually late or dry, seek further advice as damage result from spraying under these conditions. Growers should seek advice before spraying recently released cereal varieties. There is a nil tolerance of pea seed contaminates in Cereal grain and less than 100% control of Volunteer Peas could result in dockage.

Restraints:

  • Do not spray when rain seems likely to occur within 4 hours.
  • Do not spray when weeds are wet with dew or rain or under stress from drought, low soil fertility, extreme cold or water logging.
  • Do not spray outside recommended crop growth as crop damage may result.
  • Do not apply to crops or grass pastures with clover, lucerne or medics.
  • Do not apply to legume pastures.
  • Do not apply to plants suffering from stress.

Storage:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well ventilated area away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, herbicides, seed and fertilisers.
  • Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

First Aid:

  • If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131 126.
  • For further information, refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Withholding Period

Withholding Period Details (WHP):

  • Do not graze or cut for stock food for 7 days after application.
  • Harvest withholding period – Not required when used as directed
