BattleaxePro Roach Bait Gel is supplied as 4 x 20gm ready-to-use syringes. Each 20-gram syringe contains enough gel for approximately 330-660 application spots, making it one of the most cost-effective cockroach control methods. It has 3 modes of action, ingestion, contact and cascade effect.

BattleaxePRO Roach Bait boasts innovative technology that improves the length of time the bait remains in its original state. Out of the tube, it is up to 10x longer than any other gel bait available in Australia.
Field trials were conducted in Melbourne by Sundew Professional Solutions, in which BattleaxePro Roach Bait was applied in a commercial building on August 3rd, 2020. 381 days after placement on the 19th of August 2021, the bait matrix has remained the same consistency as the day it was applied. This placement was made on a vertical surface where temperatures have ranged between 3 to 38°C, and there has been no drying or ‘skin’ formation on the surface of the gel dot placement.
With this major innovation in formulation science, it is important not to over-apply gel dot placements. When conducting a baiting program to control cockroach populations, applying multiple precision gel dots is far more effective than applying larger volumes of gel less frequently positioned. Apply the correct dose size for maximum efficacy.
Why is BattleaxePro Roach Baitl such an effective cockroach bait;
The active ingredient used in BattleaxePro Roach Bait, Fipronil, is an effective cockroach bait because it is a highly potent insecticide that acts on the nervous system of cockroaches. It is a non-repellent insecticide, meaning it does not immediately kill the cockroaches upon contact. Instead, it allows the cockroaches to carry the insecticide back to their nest and spread it to other cockroaches through physical contact or ingestion.
Fipronil targets the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor in the nervous system of cockroaches, which is responsible for transmitting messages between nerve cells. Fipronil binds to the receptor and disrupts the normal functioning of the nervous system, causing paralysis and, ultimately, death in the cockroach.  Moreover, Fipronil has a long residual effect, meaning that it remains active for an extended period, killing cockroaches that come into contact with the bait days & months after application. Additionally, Fipronil has low toxicity to mammals, making it safe for use in households and other indoor environments. Overall, BattleaxePro Roach Bait, made from fipronil’s effectiveness, low toxicity, and long residual effect, is an excellent choice for controlling cockroach infestations.
How is BattleaxePro Roach Bait Gel applied;
Apply 1-3 spots per m2 (Recommended spot size is 0.03-0.06g). To apply the gel, remove the cap on the nozzle and touch the tip to the surface to be treated and depress the plunger slightly. Recap the dispenser after treatment is completed and return the cartridge to the outer pack. Re-apply according to the remaining level of infestation when the bait is no longer visibly present. A visual inspection of gel placements is recommended one month after initial treatment.
