Cyzmic Insecticide provides quick knockdown with long-lasting residual control of many insect pests in Domestic, Commercial, Public and Industrial Situations.

Cyzmic Insecticide is a micro-encapsulated suspension containing Lambda-Cyhalothrin and the innovative CapVantage technology. The broad use label includes applications for structural and perimeter pest control, indoors and outdoors of commercial, domestic, industrial and public buildings including food handling facilities.

When used as directed, Cyzmic can deliver residual control of up to 12 months on Cockroaches, Ants and Houseflies for indoors applications and can deliver residual control of up to 3 months outdoors.

Lambda-Cyhalothrin is a pyrethroid, a class of synthetic insecticides that mimic the structure and properties of the naturally occurring insecticide pyrethrin which is present in the flowers of Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium. Pyrethroids such as cyhalothrin are often preferred as an active ingredient in insecticides because they are more cost-effective and longer acting than natural pyrethrins.

Directions Of Use

Situation: Commercial, domestic, industrial and public buildings including; barracks, factories, farm buildings, food processing/handling establishments, hospitals, hotels and motels, offices, residential homes, restaurants, shops, schools, storerooms, transportation equipment such as aircraft, boats, buses, ships, trains, warehouses and other situations which fall within the above definitions including outdoor or external areas associated with such establishments, on surfaces including; cement – painted, unpainted and rendered, ceramic tiles, painted plasterboard, steel – stainless and enamelled, wood – painted and unpainted.

Critical Comments:

Apply dilute spray at the rate of 10 L/200 m2 or to runoff.

Crawling insects:

Locate possible harbourages and thoroughly apply Cyzmic as a coarse low-pressure spray to these areas.
Barrier spraying around infestation origin points may increase control.

Flying insects:

Apply as a residual surface treatment.
All people and animals should be removed from buildings prior to treatment.

Hi, I’m treating a problem with American cockroaches in an old federation house we just moved into. I’m going to use the Zeus outdoor insecticide for outdoors as it has be sworn by by a family member, however I’m looking for an effective indoor spray additionally. Will this chemical be effective on the cockroach eggs as well or does it only kill adult cockroaches? They are all over the exterior of the house , porch (big garden) and are under the kitchen sink cupboard/skirting board. I’m worried that there may be eggs in the rubble underneath the skirting board which I can’t reach. They are most definitely under the house as well.

Cyzmic Insecticide is highly recommended for indoor and outdoor applications and delivers residual control of up to 12 months on Cockroaches, including the American Cockroach. The product is a contact insecticide, whereby an insect must come in contact with it to be affected; hence, it will only kill crawling insects and not the eggs.

Tips For Use

Tips:

For Residual Control:

Do not apply in areas exposed to rain and/or direct sunlight.
Apply in sheltered areas where insects lurk.

Restraints:

Do not use in farm buildings where grain or crop produce is stored.

Mixing

Half fill the spray tank with water.
Shake Cyzmic well before use.
Measure the required amount of Cyzmic using the device attached to the cap.
Pour the measured dose of Cyzmic into the sprayer.
Add the remaining water, close the sprayer, shake and pump to correct pressure and apply the spray.

Precautions:

Cover all foodstuffs before application.
Do not allow spray to contact food, food preparation surfaces and utensils.
When using in farm buildings do not spray directly onto livestock, their food, water, litter, feed bins or surfaces accessible to stock.

Before Use:

Remove or cover all exposed foodstuff.
Cover all dishes and utensils and surfaces where food is prepared.
Remove animals, remove or cover all exposed stock feed, feed and water containers and troughs, places where stock feed is prepared or stored, and milking equipment.

After Use:

Thoroughly ventilate treated areas.
Clean up thoroughly before processing/serving resumes.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans and Environment:

Harmful to fish.
Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with Cyzmic chemicals or used containers.
Do not discharge the liquid into waterways.
Remove or cover fish tanks before use.

Storage:

Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool well-ventilated area out of direct
Sunlight.

Safety Directions:

Harmful if inhaled or swallowed.
Will irritate the eyes and skin.
Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders.
Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
When opening the container, preparing the spray and using the prepared spray wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves and face shield.
If the product is on the skin, immediately wash the area with soap and water.
Wash hands after use.
After each day’s use, wash gloves, face shield and contaminated clothing.

First Aid:

If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 131 126.
