Description

Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide

Active Ingredients: Imidacloprid @ 50g/L & Beta-Cyfluthrin @ 25g/L

Similar or comparable to Solfac Duo Residual Insecticide (Bayer CropScience)

Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide is a residual insecticide concentrate for the control of various insect pests in turf and ornamental plants and for the control of various insect pests in domestic, commercial, industrial and public buildings. Temprid gives better-stopping power measured in minutes, not hours, and provides better long-term residual control.

Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide is a suspension concentrate that offers a unique dual mode of action by combining two powerful and effective residual insecticides: beta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid, to deliver greater control.

Temprid 75 has a low application rate (10mL per 1L Water) making it very cost effective.

Why choose Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide:

  • Better residual effect: Provides at least 10 x more residual efficacy than competiting products (100% residual control for up to 8 weeks)* Refer to Bayer Data.
  • Better knock-down: Providing at least 2 x faster knockdown than competing products.
  • Better flexibility: Can be used indoors and outdoors on a wide variety of pests.
  • Better chemistry: HAS technology. HAS (Homogenised Active Synergy) combines both actives via a unique milling process which defines precise tolerances to ensure the optimum particle size. This ensures that the two actives work together to maximum effect.
  • Temprid 75 delivers up to 40% more control.
  • Temprid 75 is a suspension concentrate that offers a unique dual mode of action by combining two powerful and effective residual insecticides: beta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid.
  • Temprid 75 works twice as fast as bifenthrin.
  • Temprid 75 offers more than extremely effective stopping power. It gets to work fast, much faster than competitors.
  • Temprid 75 offers 10 times more control at eight weeks than competitor actives.  Knockdown is important but residual effect is vital to reduce call-backs and the impact they have on your reputation.

This has killed the meat ants and red back spiders very effectively and does seem to be continuing to kill them.
Arrived swiftly. Will purchase again as we have a large property and a lot of the bitey meat ant nests that need to go.

Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide is registered for safe use in ornamental plants; however, it does not specifically list Paper Nest Wasps as a species controlled in this situation. The label for Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide does indicate Paper Nest Wasp control around buildings and structures. Our interpretation of this label information is that Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide would effectively control the wasps in ornamental plants without damaging the plants when used as directed.

  2. Will Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide effectively control Armyworms in turf? I have been using Spectrum 200 SC for insect control on my ornamentals, but I have had to apply it a number of times to my turf for Armyworms as it does not seem to give any residual control. I am a retired Parks and Gardens Superintendent, and many good products are no longer available.

Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide does not provide long-term residual control of Armyworms in turf. The residual properties of Temprid are seen when applied in pest control situations in and around buildings. The application must be repeated every 7 to 14 days for severe infestations of Armyworms as needed. For season-long residual control and protection against Armyworms, we suggest looking at the Acelepryn Turf Insecticides (granular and liquid)

  4. Hi there, I recently purchased a bottle of Temprid 75 from Specialist Sales and it arrived in the post a few days ago. I purchased this product to kill army worms, cut worms and lawn beetles in my lawn. I have read the instruction pamphlet attached to the bottle but there is nothing to indicate the mixing ratio of water with this product and the area to be covered. Could you please advise me of the amount of chemical and the amount of water that is to be mixed to successfully eradicate these pests. My lawn area is 200 square metres. I will be using a pressure spray to apply the mixture to my lawn. I look for to your early reply. Thanks you.

Due to the even application required, Temprid 75 Residual Insecticide is recommended to be applied by boom spray application, hence the rate per hectare. If you choose to go off-label and are using a knapsack/pressure pack then there is a general rule of thumb conversion - Add 1/100th of rate (1/100th ha). eg. If the rate in the weed table is 2L, use 20mL/10L water. Note in the critical comments that the application rate per square metre.  A minimum application rate of 2L of spray per 100m2 area is required, plus irrigation up to 4mm.
