  • Assists with fatigue from mustering and overcrowding once yarded.
  • Improves survivability of birds under heat stress
  • Enhances weight gain and maintain optimum feed conversion ratio even at the time of stress
  • Helps maintain body fluid, thereby avoiding dehydration
  • Maintain normal feed intake and prevent vitamin deficiency problems
  • Improves egg production and hatchability for layers and breeders
  • Aids in maintaining minerals (electrolytes) transportation and retention during heat stress
  • Enhances immunity and maintains the healthy condition of the animals
  • Assists with recovery in high-performance situations (ie racing)

Factors Affecting Egg Production of Laying Birds

Fluctuations in Weather (Heat stress)

  • The Slightest deviation in temperature can affect egg production, and extreme changes in weather can greatly affect chickens.
  • When the weather approaches the colder months, the days are shorter which affects egg production, while in the summer months, it’s heat stress that can lead to significant health and welfare problems.
  • The optimal temperature for egg-laying ranges from 18° C to 24° C.
  • Nilstress is a water-soluble supplement powder containing vitamins and electrolytes that address heat stress typically brought high temperature under tropical conditions.

Stress

  • Ultimately, a stress-free chicken is the one that lays the greatest number of eggs.
  • Many factors cause stress in chickens, including cabin fever, toxins, diet, raising chicks and laying eggs, and the factors already mentioned above, such as changing weather, predators, and more.
  • Identifying the cause of stress is important, just as much as providing them with supplements to fight off stress.
  • Nilstress is a specially formulated anti-heat stress water-soluble supplement. It contains powerful combinations of well balanced key vitamins and electrolytes with exceptional solubility. It is best to use during stress periods when the demand for vitamins and electrolytes in poultry and livestock becomes very high.
