Although CroPro Pounce Insecticide is registered to control many insects (including certain moths) in various crops, it does not claim control of the Nantucket pine tip moth (NPTM). This does not mean it is ineffective, but more likely that this insect was not included in the trials when the registration data was being collated. In other parts of the world, chemicals containing Permethrin (i.e. CroPro Pounce), Spinosad (i.e. Preserve) and Carbaryl (i.e. Bugmaster) are used for this purpose. Unfortunately, in Australia, they have not been registered for use on NPTM control, so an off-label trial would need to be conducted to test the effectiveness of these products.

CroPro Pounce Insecticide (Permethrin) does not have a WHP or ESI regarding animals grazing, and you can return them to treated crops once the spray has dried.
