  • Co-Ral can be easily applied with an Allflex UTT3S,  Universal (red) or LazaMatic applicator.
  • Attach two tags per animal (one tag per ear) to the back of the ear.
  • Calves under three months should not be tagged as ear damage may result.

  • Apply as indicated in the diagram
  • Disinfect pliers before use. Place male button onto the pin.
  • Slide tag under the clip of the pliers by depressing the lever.
  • Position tag in the centre portion of the back side of the ear.
  • Apply the tag between the second and third rib cartilage. Do not penetrate any cartilage rib, or blood vessel.

Co-Ral Directions For Use

  • It is recommended to treat cattle with ear tags during the peak fly season i.e. when more susceptible cattle show ‘fly worry’, or when there are more than 200 flies per beef animal or 30 flies per dairy cow.
  • To prolong the effectiveness of the chemical groups available for fly control, ensure that you rotate your ear tags yearly. Be mindful of using an alternative chemical group for fly control pre- and post- Co-Ral Plus application to an organophosphate (if further fly control is required) to delay the development of resistance.
