We have bought a few different brands of these tags but always go back to Patriot as these give the best result in keeping the flies at bay and are easy to apply and remove

Unfortunately the tags haven’t worked for our mob here on the south coast of NSW. Even after a couple of weeks, there were still so many flies. Was really disappointing. I won’t be purchasing more of these. A big waste of money.

I have used these Patriot tags for several years. This year I have had a significant amount of failures with the white center falling out of the tag when applying also within two day of placing the tags on the cattle we have lost three tags. Not a great strike rate. Will try another make next time

Initial knock down was better than expected. Now after 8 weeks I am seeing the return of flies. Am monitoring to review the continued use of tags vs back rubbers and sprays.

Hi Scott and thanks for your review. As we discussed on the phone, the tags will not completely eliminate all flies and numbers of approximately 200 flies per beast are considered acceptable by QDPI. We look forward to hearing an update from you if the fly numbers continue to increase to this level and will be more than happy to get the manufacturer involved to see what has gone wrong if the tags are failing to keep numbers at an acceptable level. The feedback on the Patriot Tags is generally very good with customers happy with the protection and longevity they provide, so we would like to get to the bottom of this one.
