Conquest Wetter 1000 Non-Ionic Surfactant Wetting Agent CONQUEST-WETTER-1000 Conquest Crop Protection

Description

Conquest Wetter 1000 is a 100% active, non-ionic surfactant containing 1000g/L alkoxylated alcohol, formulated for use as a spray additive with knockdown and residual herbicides. Conquest Crop Protection Pty Ltd developed this product to maximise spray coverage and wetting performance across a wide range of agricultural spray programmes. It works with both high and low volume spray systems, suits all water types, and is compatible with acid and alkaline spray solutions.

The result is better herbicide contact with target plants, more consistent coverage, and reduced chemical waste from poor wetting. For growers and contractors using contact herbicides, residual soil herbicides, insecticides, or fungicides, Conquest Wetter 1000 delivers reliable performance across diverse field conditions.

What is Conquest Wetter 1000 used for?

Conquest Wetter 1000 improves the performance of knockdown and residual herbicides by reducing surface tension and increasing spray coverage on target plants and soil surfaces. It suits use with general insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, contact herbicides such as paraquat, selective herbicides, and soil residual herbicides.

Is Conquest Wetter 1000 suitable for all spray systems?

Yes. It suits high-volume power sprayers, low-volume boom sprayers, misting machines, and knapsack sprayers. It works with all water types and is compatible with both acid and alkaline spray mixes.

What makes this wetter different?

Conquest Wetter 1000 is a 100% active non-ionic surfactant. This means no inert fillers. Every millilitre contributes directly to wetting performance, making it highly cost-effective at recommended rates.

Spray System Application Rate
High Volume Power Spray (general) 100mL per 100L
Low Volume Boom Spray 40mL per 100L
Misting Machine 5mL per 5L
Knapsack 2mL per 15L
Contact Herbicides (e.g. paraquat) – Power/Boom 120mL per 100L
Contact Herbicides – Knapsack 20mL per 15L
Selective Herbicides (dims and fops) 200-250mL per 100L
Soil Residual Herbicides (e.g. diuron) 100-400mL per 100L

Why detergents are not suitable wetting agents?

Features & Benefits

  • 100% active non-ionic surfactant: Every millilitre contributes to wetting performance, with no inert fillers diluting the formulation.
  • Compatible with all water types: Suits hard, soft, acid, or alkaline water, removing a common field variable that affects spray performance.
  • Broad spray system compatibility: Works across high-volume power sprayers, low-volume boom sprayers, misting machines, and knapsack units.
  • Wide herbicide compatibility: Suitable for use with contact herbicides, residual soil herbicides, selective herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
  • Large pack size range: Available in 20L, 110L, and 1000L to suit operations of all scales, from small properties to broad-acre contractors.
  • Cost-effective application rates: Low use rates (as little as 2mL per 15L for knapsack use) make each pack go further across a spray programme.
  • Stable formulation: Compatible with acid and alkaline spray solutions, reducing compatibility concerns when tank-mixing.

Directions Of Use

Click here for Conquest Wetter 1000 Directions for Use.

Conquest Wetter 1000 is added to the spray tank after partially filling it with water. Fill the tank to at least half with water first, then add Conquest Wetter 1000 and stir. Add the pesticide, stir, and top up the tank to the required volume. Do not add directly to undiluted sprays that already contain wetting agents. Always consult the pesticide label for exact application rates before use.

Application rates vary by spray system and herbicide type, ranging from 2mL per 15L for knapsack use through to 400mL per 100L for some soil residual herbicides. Higher rates apply for contact herbicides such as paraquat to ensure thorough wetting of stems and leaves. Do not use Conquest Wetter 1000 with diclofop when mixing with a broadleaf herbicide, and note that use outside pesticide label directions with selective herbicides may reduce selectivity.

For General Insecticides, Herbicides & Fungicides:

  • High Volume Power Spray – 100mL per 100L Water
  • Low Volume Boom Spray – 40mL per 100L Water
  • Misting Machine – 5mL per 5L
  • Knapsack – 2mL per 15L

Always consult the pesticide label for exact application rates

Contact Herbicides (i.e., Paraquat):

  • High Volume Power Spray and Boom Spray – 120mL per 100L
  • Knapsack – 20mL per 15L

Spray until stems & leaves are wet.  These higher rates ensure the plants are thoroughly wet.

For Selective Herbicides:

  • (i.e., “Dims & Fops”) – 200 – 250mL per 100L

Using Wetter 1000 outside pesticide label directions may reduce selectivity. Do not add wetter 1000 when mixing diclofop with a broadleaf herbicide.

Soil Residual Herbicides:

  • Ie Diuron – 100mL – 400mL per 100L Water

See pesticide label for exact rates

Pasture Topping:

  • For use with Glyphosate – 125mL per 100L Water

Watering of Turf and Dust Abatement:

  • As additive to water – 40mL – 100mL per 100L Water

Use the higher rate when watering turf

Fire Fighting:

  • Water Tanker – 5mL per 100L Water
  • Knapsack – 2mL per 15L Water

Wetter 1000 has the advantage of lower weight to carry than less concentrated surfactants and of being non-flammable. It increases the wetting power of water, which assists in the quick control and mopping up of fires.  It is of particular value where water may not be readily available, where a less drenching spray is needed, and a tank full will cover a larger area.
