Description

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide

Active Ingredient: Butafenacil @ 100g/L

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide, containing Butafenacil, is registered to control various environmental, perennial and annual weeds in various situations, including commercial, industrial and public service areas around agricultural buildings and yards. Fast Draw Herbicide improves, spikes and extends the control of broadleaf weeds in a tank mixture with knockdown herbicides such as glyphosate.

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide improves the weed control of key environmental weeds such as Fleabane, Doublegee, Marshmallow, Paterson’s Curse, Wild Radish and Wireweed. The active ingredient in Fast Draw Herbicide, Butafenaci, is a non-selective herbicide that destroys plant material on contact. It has very limited soil activity and is non-persistent. It is most efficient on broadleaf (dicot) weeds but possesses some grass weed activity, specifically on Annual Ryegrass, Barley Grass, Brome Grass, Stink Grass and Wild Oats.

What weeds is Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide registered to control;

Annual Ryegrass (Lolium rigidum) Paterson’s Curse (Echium plantagenium)
Barley Grass (Hordium leporium) Prickly paddy melon (Cucumis myriocarpus)
Brome Grass (Bromus diandrus) Sorrel (Rumex acetosella)
Canola (Brassica napus) Sowthistle (Sonchus oleraceus)
Capeweed (Arctotheca calendula) Stink Grass (Eragrostis cilianensis)
Common Storksbill (max. 4 leaves) (Erodium cicutarium) Sub Clover (Trifolium spp.)
Deadnettle (Lamium amplexicaule) Turnip Weed (Rapistrum rugosum)
Dock (seedling) (Rumex crispus) Wild Oats (Avena fatua)
Doublegee/Three Cornered Jack/Spiny Emex (Emex australis) Volunteer Cereals
Fleabane (Conzya sp.) suppression Volunteer canola (conventional variety) (Brassica napus)
Goosefoot (Chenopodium pumilio) Volunteer narrow-leafed lupin (Lupinus angustifolius)
Lupins (Lupinis spp.) Wild Radish (Raphanus raphanistrum)
Marshmallow (Malva parviflora) Wireweed (Polygonum heterophyllum)
Medic (Medicago spp.) Wild Turnip (Brassica tournfortii)

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide is an emulsifiable concentrate that is to be mixed with water and applied per the directions for use. Fast Draw is a post-emergence herbicide to be added to knock down herbicides to improve the control of certain broadleaf weeds, including marshmallow weed in commercial, industrial and public service areas, around agricultural buildings, yards and other farm situations. Adding Proforce Fast Draw 100EC to glyphosate significantly increases the efficacy of Fleabane control.

Why choose Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide;

  • Contains the active ingredient Butafenacil.
  • Butafenaci is a non-selective herbicide that destroys plant material on contact.
  • Fast knockdown and quick results with desiccation occurring within 4 days of application.
  • Extends the spectrum of weed control when used in combination with knockdown herbicides.
  • Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide Improves weed control of key environmental weeds such as Fleabane, Doublegee, Marshmallow, Paterson’s Curse, Wild Radish and Wireweed.
  • Possesses activity on both broadleaf weeds and grass weed species.
  • Schedule 5 Chemistry. Doesn’t increase the PPE requirements with most knockdown chemistry.
  • Non-persistent in the soil environment. It can be used as a true knockdown herbicide with no residual effects.
  • Multiple pack sizes (1L & 10L) to suit the job at hand.

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide is a fast-acting contact herbicide and aids in the control of weeds through a process of membrane disruption. The foliar uptake of Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide is rapid, and plant desiccation can occur within 4 days of application. Application of Fast Draw Herbicide should target small, actively growing weeds. Subsequent germinations will not be controlled (i.e. no residual control).

Fast Draw 100EC Herbicide is rapidly absorbed through the foliage of plants. Within a few hours following application, the foliage of susceptible weeds shows signs of desiccation and necrosis and death of the plant in subsequent days.
