  • Consistent systemic protection of new growth for up to 28 days after application.
  • For high-risk periods, the option to tank mix with Daconil Weather Stik or Medallion Turf Fungicide provides a combination of systemic and contact action.
  • Maxx technology ensures excellent tank mix compatibility with other fungicides, foliar fertilisers and Primo Maxx.
  • A low-odour, non-staining formulation.

Heritage Maxx Turf Fungicide contains Azoxystrobin, which provides highly effective broad-spectrum control against a wide range of turfgrass diseases. Azoxystrobin has both  Systemic and Translaminar action.

  • Systemic: Azoxystrobin is absorbed by grass plants and translocated throughout their tissues. This provides protection to new growth and makes it more resilient to disease.
  • Translaminar: It moves across the leaf surface, offering protection on both the top and underside of the leaves.

Azoxystrobin’s protection can last for up to 28 days, reducing the need for frequent re-applications. This saves on product cost and labour. Once Azoxystrobin has dried on the turf, rainfall is less likely to wash it away, ensuring continued protection.

Precautions:

  • Do not apply using spraying equipment carried on the back of the user.

Re-entry Period:

  • Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless you are wearing chemical-resistant gloves and footwear.

Other Limitations:

  • It is not to be used for any purpose or in any manner contrary to the product label unless authorised under appropriate legislation.

  • Avoid overlapping sprays.

Leaf and Crown Diseases:

  • Application volume for leaf and crown diseases (Anthracnose, Brown Patch, Grey Leaf Spot, Helminthosporium diseases, Pythium Blight, Red Thread and Winter Fusarium) should be adequate to ensure thorough and even coverage of the turf leaves and penetration to the crowns.
  • The ideal application volume should be 350 to 500 L/ha.
  • For best results, use medium [XR Teejet* (11004 or 10005)] to coarse [Turbo Teejet* or AIXR Teejet* (11004 or 11005)] nozzles at 5 km/h and 3 bar pressure.
  • In higher-cut turf (≥15 mm) a significant spray shielding effect can occur, impacting negatively on spray penetration and even coverage at low application volumes.

Root Diseases:

  • Application volumes for root infecting diseases (Brown Patch, Pythium Root Rot and Spring Dead Spot) should be as high as possible (approximately 1000 L/ha) to ensure placement close to the soil surface.
  • When lower application volumes are used, washing in should commence as soon as possible after application.
  • For best results, use extremely coarse droplets [Turbo Floodjet* (TF5) or TurfJet* (TTJ10)] and a total application volume of approximately 1000 L/ha.
  • Preferably spray onto wet or dewy grass. Irrigate with 6 to 10 mm of water commencing within 1 hour of application.

Water Volume:

  • Leaf and Crown Diseases:
    • Application volume for leaf and crown diseases (Anthracnose, Brown Patch, Grey Leaf Spot, Helminthosporium diseases, Pythium Blight, Red Thread and Winter Fusarium) should be adequate to ensure thorough and even coverage of the turf leaves and penetration to the crowns.
    • The ideal application volume should be 350 to 500 L/ha.
