Per the "Directions for Use", the application of Success Ultra Insect Control is only to spray the tree's foliage, including the under surfaces of leaves. Ensure spray coverage is to the point of runoff. When used as directed, you will need to consider the withholding periods, i.e. not to pick coffee, grapes, kiwifruit and pome fruit for seven days after spraying. You may choose to use the Success Ultra Insect Control 'off-label' and spray the fruit and branches, but the manufacturer (Yates) will not guarantee the product's effectiveness or any withholding periods of the fruit. For further clarification, we recommend contacting the manufacturer Yates Australia Consumer Advice Team, on 1300 369 074.

Once you have measured out the required amount of Success Ultra Insect Control and mixed it with water it is fine to use immediately.  The best practice is to use all the spray solution promptly and certainly within 5-days of mixing as a gradual loss of activity will occur.  If the solution has been left for a period of time (ie overnight) good agitation of the mix is recommended before spraying again.
