Directions Of Use

Application Rates:

Plant Pest Rate How to apply
Fruit Crop Or Trees, Nuts, Ornamentals, Trees, Vegetables & Vines Fruit Flies, including; 

Mediterranean Fruit Fly and Queensland Fruit Fly

Mix 40mL in 260mL of water in a trigger bottle  (This is enough to treat 6 trees or plants) Apply as either a band or a spot spray to the trunk or lower foliage of 6 trees or plants using large droplets.  Repeat weekly, re-applying sooner if there has been rain.
Non-foliar baiting Fruit Flies, including; 

Mediterranean Fruit Fly and Queensland Fruit Fly

Mix 10mL in 15mL of water. Apply evenly to a 300mm square of plywood or similar concentrated areas of branch or higher trunk at or above 1.5m.  Hang the treated board at mid-height in the canopy or garden bed.  Re-apply bait every 7 days or after rain.

Tips For Use

When to apply:

  • Start applying as soon as fruit flies are present and fruit is at a susceptible stage (at very early fruit set, well before fruit changes colour).

How to prepare:

  • Do not mix more than required

Application & Precautions:

  • Start applying as soon as fruit flies are present or fruit is at a susceptible stage (at very early fruit set, well before fruit changes colour).
  • Do not spray when shade temperatures exceed 30°c.
  • Do not spray when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.
  • Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours.
  • Do not apply directly onto fruit.

Caution:

  • Do not allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds.
  • Dangerous to bees.
  • Do not spray on plants in flower if bees are active.
  • Once the spray has dried, foraging bees will not be affected.

Storage:

  • Store in the closed original container in a cool dry place, out of reach of children.
  • Do not store in direct sunlight.

Safety Directions:

  • May irritate the eyes.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • If the product is in eyes, wash it out immediately with water.
  • After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water.
