Bainbridge Pink Eye Patches

Bainbridge Pink Eye Patches provide an effective once-only treatment to aid in the management of Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis in cattle.

These patches feature a convex design that reduces discomfort by preventing the material from touching the infected eye. By covering the eye, they promote faster healing and prevent flies from spreading bacteria to the rest of the herd. The application is simple and only requires a single yarding, as the patches are designed to fall off and decompose naturally after 7 to 14 days.

Available in packs for adults or calves, each pack contains 10 patches and 1 adhesive tube.

Bainbridge Pink Eye Patches BAINBRIDGE-PINKEYE-PATCHES Bainbridge Vet

Description

Bainbridge Pink Eye Patches aid in the treatment of Infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis (Pinkeye) in cattle. These patches cover the infected eye to promote healing by reducing exposure to irritants and preventing the spread of bacteria throughout the herd. Furthermore, early identification and treatment with these patches are essential to control this painful disease, which is typically spread by flies, insects, dust, and seeds.

The patches feature a unique raised, convex design that reduces contact with the eye to ensure animal comfort. This effective, once-only treatment requires just a single yarding, which lessens the severity of the infection and protects the eye from sunlight. Additionally, sunlight often increases disease severity, making this physical barrier vital. A single pack contains 10 patches and one tube of adhesive, providing a practical solution for managing herd health.

Why use a raised-pitched design for pinkeye treatment?

The special raised-pitched design reduces contact and discomfort with the sensitive, infected eye. By providing a protective barrier, the patch prevents flies from feeding on eye discharges, which is a primary method of spreading pinkeye bacteria within a cattle herd.

How long do the Bainbridge Pink Eye Patches stay on the animal?

The adhesive is designed to stay in place for approximately 7 to 14 days, depending on environmental conditions and application. The patch will eventually detach naturally and decompose, eliminating the need for a second yarding to remove it.
