Description
Blitz Insecticide
Active Ingredients: Piperonyl Butoxide @ 80g/L, Deltamethrin @ 10g/L & Tetramethrin-R 25:75 @ 10g/L
Blitz Insecticide is a combination insecticide containing three powerful active ingredients to treat a range of insect pests in both indoor and outdoor situations. Blitz Insecticide provides quick knockdown power, quick killing power, exceptional flushing action and the long-lasting residual protection of deltamethrin. It is effective indoors & outdoors and works on porous & non-porous surfaces, is low odour and non-staining.
Blitz Insecticide is based on Synthetic Pyrethroids which interfere with the permeability of sodium ion channels across nerve membranes. Piperonyl Butoxide interferes with the metabolism of the pyrethroids which occurs by oxidation thus preventing the insect from detoxifying the insecticide, thus enhancing its activity i.e. it has a synergistic effect.

I use this for me and my parents house either once or twice a year depending on pest activity. I use it when there is no forecast rain in the next few days, the next day, prepare to pick up dead bugs the next day(spiders, roaches, beetles, crickets) . Have used it for the last 5 years, I’ve concerned of insecticide resistance, been seems not to be a problem, it just keeps on killing. Recommend for anyone who wants domestic use at a professional level.

Well to be honest, I haven’t used this product yet, but I’ve given it a 4/5 rating because I’m confident it will work. I’ve had a bad problem recently with pests (mainly spiders and cockroaches), in and around my house. I suspect these pests have become resistant because nothing else I’ve sprayed (mainly pyrethroid insecticides) seems to kill them. Lately, the pests have gone a bit quiet, probably due to the cooler weather (or maybe they know I have some new heavy artillery, lol). If they do start breeding up again however, I’ll be ready to use Blitz which I reckon should control them, because it has a good mix of active ingredients, synergised with PBO to help kill resistant pests. All going well.
