The active ingredient in Surefire Indoor and Outdoor is Alpha-Cypermethrin controls insects by contact action and ingestion. When applied as a surface spray, it offers long residual activity and works by quickly affecting the insect’s central nervous system. It can be applied with conventional spray equipment used to control public health pests.

Had an ongoing problem with mud wasps and was costing a fortune using a pest controller. Used this at the higher dose and so far it’s working very well. Takes me less than an hour to do wholes outside.

Application:

For crawling insects, apply a coarse low-pressure spray to areas where pests frequent.
For flying insects, apply a surface treatment using a fine spray to wet the surface.
This product is not to be used to control fleas on animals or pests on garden plants, including fruit and vegetables.

Application examples:

1 L of prepared spraymix will treat 20 square metres.
5 L of prepared spraymix will treat 100 square metres

If a different water rate is required, adjust the dilution rate to ensure that 2 mL of product is applied per square metre for initial treatments, extended control or heavy infestations; and that 1 mL of product is applied per square metre for maintenance treatments, short term control or light infestations.

How to Prepare:

This product controls insects by contact action and ingestion. When applied as a surface spray, the product offers long residual activity. To obtain the best results all surfaces should be treated, especially cracks, crevices and infested areas. A higher volume of water may be required on very absorbent surfaces. Apply to the point of run-off only.
Shake or invert the container before opening. Carefully measure the required amount of product and add to water in the sprayer and mix thoroughly. Do not mix more spray than can be used on the day of mixing.
Thoroughly clean out the sprayer after use.

When applying 'Surefire Cockroach, Spider Indoor and Outdoor Pest Insecticide', all dishes, foodstuffs, and places where food is prepared or stored should be covered before application. Animals (including dogs) should be removed from the area to be sprayed. Cover or remove bird cages or fish tanks during spraying. Animals can safely reenter once this area has been given time to dry and ventilate thoroughly. Pets, including dogs, should not be sprayed with Surefire Indoor and Outdoor Pest Insecticide.

Tips For Use

Use the higher rate for ant control where population numbers are high.

Caution:

Do not spray directly on humans, pets, exposed food, food preparation areas or food utensils.
If using inside the home evacuate areas to be treated.
These areas can be re-occupied once spraying is completed.
Before use – remove or cover all exposed foodstuffs; cover all dishes and utensils, and places where food is prepared or stored.
Cover or remove bird cages or fish tanks during spraying.
After use – thoroughly ventilate the treated area. Clean up thoroughly before processing/serving resumes.
Do not allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds.

Storage and Disposal:

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children.
Do not store in direct sunlight.
Dispose of empty containers by wrapping them in paper, placing them in a plastic bag and putting them in the garbage.

Safety Directions:

Harmful if swallowed. May irritate the eyes and skin.
Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Avoid inhaling the spray mist.
When using the product wear rubber gloves.
Wash hands after use.
