Similar or comparable to Wasp Killer & Nest Destroyer (Yates) & Wasp Freeze Insecticide (BASF)
Wasp Force Insecticide is for outdoor control of wasps in domestic, commercial and industrial areas.
Wasp Force Insecticide is an aerosol-based formulation containing dual active ingredients; 1.3 g/kg D-Allethrin and 1.3 g/kg D-Phenothrin for consistent and reliable control. Wasp Force is designed to provide a rapid knockdown, that works fast so that no stinging pheromone can be released, thus reducing the potential for being stung at the time of application. The active ingredients also provide residual control in the nest to ensure full eradication of the wasp population.
Wasp Force contains a coarse jet with large particles that optimises the amount of active ingredient delivered to the pest which further improves effectiveness against both adult wasps and larvae.
Wasp Force Insecticide has proven performance to knock down wasps within 5 seconds.
The other benefit of the Wasp Force jet is its ability to throw a long, but consistent distance with its high output nozzle, ensuring that nests can be treated from a safe distance and quickly soak the nest. Field trials have demonstrated that the jet can cover up to 7 m.
The large aerosol can size (500-gm) of the Wasp Force aerosol, also offers value for money and is sufficient to treat multiple nests. The formulation also contains no ozone-depleting substances, and is a low conductivity formulation, providing ease of use and convenience.
What pests will Wasp Force Insecticide control;
- Wasps (including but not limited to;)
- Paper wasps (Polistes)
- Mud dauber wasps (Sceliphron laetum)
- European wasps (Vespula germanica)
European Wasps are more aggressive than bees and will attack when their nests are disturbed. Unlike bees, wasps can sting more than once, and do not die after stinging. The sting causes burning pain and swelling. If stings are multiple, a more severe systemic reaction may occur.
Paper Wasps can deliver painful stings but are not as aggressive as European Wasps. They normally only attack humans if their nest is disturbed. If stings are multiple, a more severe systemic reaction may occur.
The Mud-dauber Wasp lives in urban areas, forests and woodlands, and open, uncultivated areas. The Mud-dauber Wasp can deliver painful stings, but attacks are rare.
