Description
Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator (IGR)
Active Ingredients: Pyriproxyfen @ 12g/L & Novaluron @ 12g/L
Tekko Pro is a dual active insect growth regulator (IGR) that provides long-lasting pest control of Cockroaches and Fleas.
Tekko Pro Insect Growth Regulator contains 2 insect growth regulators with different modes of action.
- Novaluron is classified as an insect growth regulator (IGR), specifically a chitin synthesis inhibitor designed to interrupt normal moulting of insects through the inhibition of chitin synthesis during the larval and pupal moults.
- Pyriproxyfen is also classified as an IGR, specifically, a juvenile hormone analogue designed to mimic natural concentrations of juvenile hormones in insects, effectively preventing them from moulting to advanced life stages.
This gradually reduces the population of insects over several weeks due to eliminating their ability to reproduce.  Where a quick action is required and where high numbers of adult cockroaches are found, the use of a knockdown product as a tank mix with Tekko Pro is recommended.

We had a flea outbreak in our caravan, we live in the van full time , so doing nothing was not an option . We used ” Superway tick and flea residual insecticide ” and “Tekko Pro insect growth regulator ” as per instructions on both containers . If you are spraying these chemicals in such an enclosed area , i strongly recommend you use a full protective overalls , you can buy the throw-away version for about 8 dollars , Also use a good quality pair of eye protectors, I wear glasses ,so make sure the eye protector goes over your glasses , And make sure you use the right type of face mask , you don`t want to be breath this stuff ! Before you start spraying , make a plan , it can be a little difficult to remember where you have already sprayed . The sprayer i used was a 500ml hand sprayer , buy the time i was using my second bottle of spray my hands were quite sore , so you might prefer to get a bigger pump-up type sprayer . ( no hand pumping ) . I also cannot recommend to you highly enough , Know thine enemy , fleas can be very hard to kill, learn as much as you can about them, it will help you when you do the spraying . We have not had a flea bite for 3 weeks , we have our fingers crossed . So , follow all instructions on the bottles and see how you go . Also , we only had a minor infestation , when you know you have a flea infestation , act now , do not give fleas a chance to settle in !
