Description

Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide

Active Ingredient: Fipronil @ 100g/L

Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide delivers comprehensive pest control for both turf and structural applications. This professional-grade solution effectively eliminates Argentine Stem Weevils, ants (including Red Imported Fire Ants), and mole crickets across recreational, domestic, and commercial turf areas. Additionally, it provides reliable control of typical household and commercial pests, including cockroaches, earwigs, flies, spiders, millipedes, pill bugs, and crickets around buildings and structures.

Why choose Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide?

  • Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide offers broad-spectrum efficacy, controlling a wide variety of pests in both turf and around structures.
  • It is made from fipronil, which is non-repellent, so pests do not detect or avoid it.
  • The product boasts high potency at low doses, effectively reducing pest populations even at low concentrations and demonstrating efficacy against resistant insect populations.
  • Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide provides lasting residual activity, remaining effective on treated surfaces for extended periods and reducing the need for frequent reapplications.

Where can Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide be used?

  • External areas and surrounds of domestic, commercial, public and industrial buildings and structures.
  • Spot application in domestic situations.
  • External covered areas and surrounds of domestic, commercial, public and industrial buildings and structures.
  • Recreational Turf (including bowling greens, golf courses, parks and playing fields), domestic turf and commercial turf farms.

What pests does Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide control?

  • Nuisance ants, including but not limited to: Argentine ant (Linepithema humile), Black house ant (Ochetellus glaber), Pedicel ant/odorous house ant (Tapinoma spp.), Pharaoh’s ant (Monomorium pharaonis) & Whitefooted house ant (Technomyrmex albipes).
  • Nesting ants, including but not limited to: Funnel ant (Aphaenogaster pythia), Greenhead ants (Rhytidoponera spp.), Meat ants (Iridomyrmex spp.), Red imported fire ant (Solenopsis invicta) & Yellow crazy ant (Anoplolepis gracilipes).
  • Domestic Cockroaches – American Cockroaches (Periplaneta americana), Australian Cockroaches (Periplaneta australasiae), Oriental Cockroaches (Blatta orientalis) & Smokybrown Cockroaches (Periplaneta fuliginosa).
  • Web-spinning Spiders including Black House Spider (Badumna insignis) & Redback Spider (Latrodectus hasselti).
  • Daddy-long-legs Spiders (Pholcus phalangioides), Millipedes (Julus spp.), Pill Bugs (Armadillidium vulgare), House Crickets (Acheta domesticus) & Earwigs (Forficula auricularia).
  • Houseflies (Musca domestica).
  • Argentine Stem Weevil (Listronotus bonariensis) & Mole Cricket (Scapteriscus didactylus and Gryllotalpa spp.)

Why is Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide, made from Fripronil, considered a good option for insect control?

  • Broad-Spectrum Efficacy – It controls a large variety of pests such as nuisance ants (Argentine, Black house, Pharaoh’s, and Whitefooted house ants), nesting ants (Funnel, Greenhead, Meat, Fire, Yellow crazy ants), domestic cockroaches (American, Oriental, Australian, Smokybrown), web-spinning spiders (including Black house and Redback spiders), daddy-long-legs spiders, millipedes, pill bugs, house crickets, earwigs, houseflies, Argentine stem weevil, and mole crickets.
  • Non-Repellent – It is made from fipronil, which is non-repellent, so pests do not detect or avoid it.
  • High Potency at Low Doses – The Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide is highly effective at very low concentrations, reducing non-target impacts and residues when used according to label directions. For example, it quickly reduces populations of Argentine ants and nuisance/troublesome ants. Fipronil is also effective against resistant insect populations and remains potent even when pests have developed resistance to other insecticides.
  • Lasting Residual Activity – Surefire Fireant and Turf Insecticide remains effective on treated surfaces for extended periods, offering long-term residual control. This reduces the frequency of reapplications and limits overall pesticide use.
